McObject’s Andrei Gorine Chosen as Communications Design Conference Speaker

July 12, 2002 — McObject Co-Founder and Principal Architect Andrei Gorine has been honored with an appointment to the faculty of CMP’s Communications Design Conference 2002 in San Jose, Sept. 23-26. Andrei’s session is entitled “Edge Routing, Service Aggregation, and Label Switching” and he will present a paper on the critical role of data management in embedded routing table management (RTM) software within IP routers.

About Andrei Gorine

Prior to co-founding McObject, Andrei held senior technical and management positions with software companies, leading development of custom database solutions for telecommunications companies including Hughes Network Systems. As a technology consultant, he has been recognized for his expertise in providing storage solutions for embedded applications in such fields as industrial control, industrial preventative maintenance, and telecommunications equipment.

Throughout his professional career, Andrei has participated in both academic and industry research projects focusing on real-time database systems. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Machinery and is a member of IEEE and ACM.
