McObject’s Partnership with SySoft Expands Service Offerings in Europe

December 6, 2004 —  McObject has formed a new partnership with SySoft, a Moscow-based firm of systems software development experts. The alliance makes SySoft a preferred provider of consulting and services for McObject’s eXtremeDB in-memory embedded database and related technology in Europe.

Under the agreement, SySoft will provide integration, porting, application development and other services involving eXtremeDB to McObject customers. SySoft will train and support eXtremeDB users, and assist McObject and its European distributors in gaining market share.

SySoft will also introduce McObject’s eXtremeDB to its customer base as a solution for efficiently managing growing volumes of complex data in industrial control, scientific, telecommunications and other real-time applications.

SySoft offers a wealth of experience in system programming for embedded and real-time applications. Projects successfully completed for major American and European companies include development of drivers, BSPs and utilities, as well as software porting and localization.

“Integration of real-time data management meets a growing need in embedded systems development projects. We’re pleased that with eXtremeDB, we can implement a flexible, fast and cost-effective solution,” SySoft General Director Sergei E. Ivanov said.

“In our talks with McObject, it became clear that both companies emphasize routine and extensive testing to ensure high product quality, along with proven software development methodology and professional management, to comply with tough schedules. We see an excellent fit in providing services for McObject customers,” Ivanov said.

“Our new partnership with SySoft is an important step forward in expanding the total solution that McObject offers its European customers,” McObject President and CEO Steve Graves said. “SySoft’s growing client list is impressive. As a solutions provider, its breadth of experience in systems software and embedded technologies complements eXtremeDB well.”
